Become A School Bus/Van Driver

It is extremely rewarding to become a school bus or school van driver for A J Myers and Sons, Inc. There are several qualifications and certifications a driver must obtain before getting behind the wheel. Our professionals at Myers will walk you through the process step by step to ensure success. To show our commitment to our drivers A J Myers and Sons, Inc. provides the following:
A J Myers and Sons, Inc. conducts and pays for all of your training!
A J Myers and Sons, Inc. pays for all of your clearances!
A J Myers and Sons, Inc. makes sure you are not only comfortable but are more than ready to drive before you get behind the wheel!
TO QUALIFY - YOU MUST:
Be 21 years old
Read, write, & communicate in English clearly
Pass a physical exam, Tuberculosis test, & drug screen
Satisfactory results to: FBI Background Clearance, PA State Criminal Record, PA Child Abuse Clearance
Pass all required PA State Knowledge & Driving Tests (CDL, Air Brake Endorsement, School Bus, Passenger Endorsement) *not required for school van drivers*
LICENSING & TRAINING
PA required minimum of 14 or more hours classroom
PA required minimum of 6 hours one-on-one In-Bus training *additional hours offered until driver is comfortable*
A J Myers Mars Terminal is a PennDOT certified testing facility - Driving Skills Test provided at the Mars Terminal.
HOURS OF ATTENDANCE
Must be available to work week days
Hours: 6 am to 9 am
And/or 2 pm to 4:30
